Technical Services Project Portfolio

Over its more than a quarter of a century providing technical services, META has responded to environmental needs ranging from the training and management needs of schools brought about by the asbestos “boom” of the 1980’s, to the mold remediation and hazardous materials release consulting and remediation needs brought about by the recent rash of tropical hurricanes. This listing of services reflects META’s long history and willingness to adapt to the needs of the environmental services industry.

Project Experience Summary

Hurricane Response: META provided team members to a number of firms responding to the hurricanes in Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. META team members managed remediation, performed asbestos and mold inspections, supervised construction and restoration, and performed IH and clearance sampling.

Asbestos Removal Design and Management: Numerous schools from 1988 to present

ESA/PCA: Site investigations and property condition assessments for a number of large multi-state multi-property portfolios including hotels, restaurants, storage facilities, office buildings, and nursing homes.

Respirator Fit Testing: Staffs of hospitals, power plants, abatement contractors

Asbestos Inspections: An environmental firm had used a contractor who was accredited but was not aware of his need for a state license to perform a valid asbestos inspection. META was able to provide licensed services within 24 hours of the initial request to move the project along.

Pipelines: Develop and train special protocols for asbestos related pipeline maintenance, regulatory analysis of protocol applicability in multiple jurisdictions

Power Industry: Asbestos inspections and management programs

Hospitals: Asbestos inspections and management programs

Public and Private Schools: Asbestos and mold inspections and re-inspections, abatement design, management and monitoring, asbestos management planning

Real Estate Management and Investment firms: Phase I, II, and III ESAs, PCA’s, indoor air quality, asbestos mercury, lead and mold investigation, remediation management and management plans, UST investigations and removal oversight

Environmental Project Staffing: Short term or long term project staff to meet emergency needs, special licensing requirements, or to provide specialized skills
