Two Hour Asbestos Awareness Online Training

$70.00

This online asbestos-awareness course teaches maintenance, custodial, and housekeeping employees how to recognize common asbestos hazards and avoid disturbing asbestos-containing materials. Available in English and Spanish, the course supports OSHA Class IV and AHERA awareness training but does not qualify students to perform asbestos work.

Compliance issue: both AHERA and OSHA require awareness training to include available information about the asbestos-containing materials in the employee’s actual workplace. A general online course cannot provide that building-specific information, so the employer or school should supplement it with identified locations of ACBM, management-plan information, and the designated AHERA contact.
