Construction (Tailgate) Safety Training Program

Introduction

Focusing on topics covered in OSHA 10- and/or 30-Hour Construction Safety, this program is designed to provide a more informative and engaging training on construction safety.

There are 24 courses in the program covering topics of basic asbestos awareness, confined space safety, electrical safety, fall protection, ladder safety, PPE, walking working surface safety, and much more. All courses are available in English and Spanish!

META Online Training team has been developing the Construction (Tailgate) Safety Training Program since spring 2022. It is our belief that this new approach will be a significant enhancement to tools for maintaining a safety culture. We continue to develop more safety training videos. Please follow us and sign up for new courses as soon as they become available.

Format of Training Videos

Each video is 2-to-6-minutes long. Training content is either presented in a narrated infographics format or in a conversation between trainers. A quick summary is presented at the end of each video to foster understanding and memorization. Review quiz is included at the end of each course.

1. To document compliance, we can provide a report indicating which employees have viewed the training videos. Documentation of engagement in the form of answering a question or questions on the content by the student is an option.
2. We can provide a comprehensive record of our program’s content should OSHA request additional details on the content of the daily meetings.

4. By offering the content in both English and Spanish, the program mitigates communication breakdowns inhibiting transmission of essential information within crews combining staff with two languages but with limited internal bilingual capabilities.
