This course is designed to satisfy the annual refresher training requirement for accredited asbestos inspectors under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and the EPA Model Accreditation Plan (MAP). Description
The course begins with verification of each student’s identity, eligibility, and required information. Students must submit documentation showing successful completion of an initial inspector course or a previous inspector refresher course.
Throughout the course, students engage with video demonstrations and prerecorded interviews featuring META’s experienced, certified instructors. Each module includes review questions in various formats, such as multiple-choice, matching, true-or-false, and short-answer questions.
Students may also be required to upload brief video or audio responses explaining their understanding of specific workplace scenarios. These activities are designed to reinforce comprehension, encourage practical application, and promote active engagement with the course material.
A final identity-verification step is required before the course can be marked complete.
Certificate
Students who successfully complete all course requirements will receive a PDF course-completion certificate. Certificates are issued within 24 hours for courses completed on weekdays and within 48 hours for courses completed on weekends.
